The new 2023 Perodua Axia will be offered in four different variants - G, X, SE, and AV. But the base of them all is the same - the combination of the Daihatsu New Global Architecture platform (DNGA) paired with the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine from the previous-gen but brought into the present by mating it to the D-CVT gearbox just like the facelifted Myvi and Ativa.

The new Axia now comes with a sportier and modern exterior look with a hint of aggressiveness that makes the old Axia looks docile and boring. Not only does the new Axia, but it’s also more aerodynamic which further improves its overall fuel efficiency together with the addition of the D-CVT transmission package.
